Aspirin to Prevent Pre-eclampsia

Yesterday this article showed up in my Google Alert for pre-eclampsia. A recent study indicated that aspirin taken during pregnancy, starting before 16 weeks, can have a significant effect on the risk of pre-e. Taking aspirin is a common recommendation, but I'd always heard that the effectiveness was questionable. So I thought it was interesting to see a current study about this treatment. This study showed that the risk was decreased by almost 50%!
